Topic: ++750 Tau Tournament List++

Hey guys, at the main GW store in the city they are holding a campaign, which u start at 750 points, then for every sector you capture (battle u win), at the start of the next week u add 100pts to your army, this is cumulative, and can be combined with other players wins. Every battle you win, u get to pick from a luckey dip, which prizes could include D6 free re-rolls or even the ultimate prize, the hammer of something, it counts as a thunder hammer without the striking last, but has some nasty daemon weapon status effects.

Reguardless, this is my starting 750, which will be taken up to 1100 due to the campaign wins we have been getting, please give crititsim, im trying to make a balanced list for this points level.

I dont usually take kroot, but thought it might be a nice addition to my fairly stationary list (i usually take a mechanized mobile tau).

in 750 11 kroot is silly its 20 or none
why the shas'ui mor firewarriors will do better
on thart subjectt get more firewarriors in 30 would be good
try an aun i always take one
you wont need the multi tracker on the broadside give it drones 1 laz and 75pts+ goes on a 2+
why the blacksun filter?

Thanks for the critisim edible, i just want to test out the kroot, i just repainted them and wanted to see em on the table
I usually take 3 squads of 12, but the games are just too boring, at least this way i will have a sitback and shoot firebase with one squad (ethereal attatched) and the rest being completly mobile (infiltrating kroot, crisis suits and hammerhead).

I disagree, 11 kroot isnt so bad for this size of list. The smaller the list, the elss kroot youd need. Lets face it, they arent there to win combats really are they? 

Kroot are always nice for variety, for woodland pillboxing and all sorts. Lets face it, they arent overly shabby on firepower either.

your welcome WolfLord_Adz though with an aun you dont need the sha'uis in you squads pgrade one crisis to a shas' el for that 20 pts
get your head a target lock 5pts is worth it for 4 s5 hits on a non rail target which is normally a tank or MC
most GWs didnt let me go 1 pt over your lucky
honestly swap the kroot for sum drones there extreamly versitile of spen a mere 70pts to make your kroot a unit of 20
its improving though...
