here in cali our tournements are always 1850pts.  my guard army finally just about reaches this points total.  so far my guard are undefeated at 4-0-2 .   i started playing ig simply because i fell in love with the tanks.  so my list is alot of tanks and special weapons.

My first response is for you to drop Chem-Inhalers.  Quite frankly, this list won't be taking many Morale Checks, and when it is, the troops are probably dead anyways. 

My next suggestion would be to up the Grenadiers and Veterans to 6 men, just to up the half casualties point.  You'll have 61 points left if I'm not mistaken.  After that, it's kind of a toss-up.  I wouldn't get a Chimera for the vets, just because then they aren't deep-striking or infiltrating, both options being just as fast in most cases.  Deep-Striking another squad would probably be the best bet, as the has no real long-range AT power.  I'd say deep-strike more Vets, as they are a better choice because of the cheaper special weapons and BS4

i squeezed in another squad of veterans and switched around the grenadiers to deepstrike and the veterans in the chimeras to get a couple more plasmaguns.  however the chem-inhaler has saved me numerous time and i really want to keep it.  it look any better?  now im 14 points over where should i cut the points from?

Grenadiers cannont deepstrike or infiltrate.  you'll have to grab them a chirmera or something.  since you have doctine choices you have'nt used yet. I would suggest grabbing the must have drop troops and iron discipline.  You can drop sentinels if needed, and iron discipline is always useful.

forgot about that. i switched it back to the veterans (drop troops) and the grenadiers in the chimeras.  i took off the h. stubbers on the hellhounds to get under 1850pts.  hows it look now?
