Yes, I will update the map later when I have a chance but for now note that the German army in Kiel is actually in Holland. This of course means that Germany has an additional build (which I have already changed).

Edit: Maps updated.

Builds are in, newly conscripted peasants from across Europe blink in the cold spring air as they prepare to die for the whims of powerful men.

Spring orders are due by Midnight GMT on Sunday 27th Feb

Re: IainC's Dastardly Diplomatic Devilry - Fall 1902 orders due 2nd March
« Reply #23 on: March 3, 2011, 05:44:16 AM »
Fall 1902: The Fallening. I got Russia's orders late so wasn't able to clarify the missing order for the army in the Ukraine. Learn from this and get your orders in early so that if there are problems I can flag them up with you.

Austria:
A Budapest Hold
F Greece Supports A Serbia - Bulgaria (*Dislodged*)
A Serbia - Bulgaria (*Bounce*)
A Trieste - Venice (*Fails*)
A Tyrolia Supports A Trieste - Venice

England:
F London - North Sea (*Fails*)
F North Sea - Denmark (*Fails*)
F Norway Hold
A Yorkshire, no move received (note your orders referred to your army in Liverpool which had moved to Yorkshire last turn)

France:
A Belgium Hold
F Brest - Mid-Atlantic Ocean
F Gulf of Lyon Supports A Marseilles - Piedmont
A Marseilles - Piedmont
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - Irish Sea
A Picardy - Brest

Germany:
A Berlin - Munich
F Denmark Hold
A Holland Hold
A Kiel Supports F Denmark
A Ruhr Supports A Berlin - Munich

Italy:
F Ionian Sea Supports A Bulgaria - Greece
F Tunis - Western Mediterranean
A Tuscany Supports A Venice
A Venice Hold

Russia:
A Finland Supports F Sweden
F Rumania Hold
F Sweden Supports F North Sea - Denmark
A Ukraine, no move received
A Warsaw Supports A Ukraine - Galicia (*Void*)

Turkey:
A Bulgaria - Greece
F Constantinople - Bulgaria(sc) (*Bounce*)
F Eastern Mediterranean - Aegean Sea
A Smyrna - Constantinople (*Fails*)

The map looks like this after all of that:

We have one dislodgement to handle before we go to builds, the Austrian fleet in Greece can either retreat to Albania or it may be disbanded. Let me know what you want to do here.

Once that is out of the way the builds will be as follows:

Turkey has one build
Russia has one build

Austria has one disband if the fleet retreats to Albania or no change if they choose to disband the fleet instead.

Austria chose to disband the fleet in Greece and both the Austrian and Russian builds have been submitted so here is the map going into 1903.

Orders for the spring 1903 turn are due by Midnight GMT on Sunday 6th March.

Despite two reminders and almost a whole extra day, I received no orders from Italy. Civil Disorder for them then.

Here are the orders I did receive:

Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Serbia - Rumania
A Serbia - Rumania
A Trieste - Serbia
A Tyrolia - Trieste

England:
F London - English Channel (*Fails*)
F North Sea - Denmark
F Norway - Skagerrak
A Yorkshire - Liverpool

France:
A Belgium - Picardy
A Brest Hold
F Gulf of Lyon - Spain(sc)
F Irish Sea Supports F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - English Channel
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - English Channel
A Piedmont - Tuscany (*Fails*)

Germany:
F Denmark - North Sea (*Dislodged*)
A Holland, no move received
A Kiel, no move received
A Munich - Tyrolia
A Ruhr - Munich

Italy:
F Ionian Sea, no move received
A Tuscany, no move received
A Venice, no move received
F Western Mediterranean, no move received

Russia:
A Finland - St Petersburg
A Moscow - Sevastopol
F Rumania Hold (*Dislodged*)
F Sweden Supports F North Sea - Denmark
A Ukraine Supports A Warsaw - Galicia
A Warsaw - Galicia

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea Convoys A Smyrna - Bulgaria
A Ankara - Smyrna
F Constantinople Supports A Smyrna - Bulgaria
A Greece Supports A Smyrna - Bulgaria
A Smyrna - Bulgaria

This shakes things up considerably.

Two dislodged units to deal with before we go into the Fall turn:

The German fleet in Denmark can retreat to either Helgoland Bight or the Baltic Sea or it can disband

The Russian Fleet in Rumania can retreat to the Black Sea or it can disband.

Please PM me those retreats/disbands as soon as possible and we'll head on into the Fall turn.

Don't worry Faitherun, at least you didn't lose anything by missing a turn.

Anyway, the retreats are in. The Russians slunk back into the Black Sea while the filthy Boche are cruising the Baltic.

The map is thus:

Orders for the Fall 1903 turn are due by Midnight GMT on Thursday 10th March

Well. I don't know where to start. I think that many of you will find plenty to talk about in this latest round of orders.

Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Serbia
A Rumania Supports A Budapest (*Cut*)
A Serbia Supports A Rumania (*Cut*)
A Trieste - Vienna (*Bounce*)

England:
F Denmark Hold
A Liverpool Hold
F London Hold
F Skagerrak - North Sea

France:
A Brest - Gascony
F English Channel Convoys A Picardy - Wales
F Irish Sea Supports F English Channel
A Picardy - Wales
A Piedmont - Tuscany (*Fails*)
F Spain(sc) Hold

Germany:
F Baltic Sea - Denmark (*Fails*)
A Holland - Belgium
A Kiel Supports F Baltic Sea - Denmark
A Munich - Burgundy
A Tyrolia - Vienna (*Bounce*)

Italy:
F Ionian Sea - Adriatic Sea
A Tuscany - Piedmont (*Fails*)
A Venice - Trieste (*Fails*)
F Western Mediterranean - Mid-Atlantic Ocean

Russia:
F Black Sea - Ankara (*Bounce*)
A Galicia - Rumania (*Fails*)
A Sevastopol - Armenia
A St Petersburg Hold
F Sweden Supports F Denmark
A Ukraine - Sevastopol

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea Supports A Bulgaria
A Bulgaria Supports A Greece - Serbia
F Constantinople Supports A Bulgaria
A Greece - Serbia (*Fails*)
A Smyrna - Ankara (*Bounce*)

Somehow, despite the massive bloodshed across the continent, there are no retreats to handle. Instead we can go straight into builds which are as follows:

Austria:   Supp  5 Unit  4 Build  1
England:   Supp  5 Unit  4 Build  1
France:    Supp  5 Unit  6 Remove  1
Germany:   Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0
Italy:     Supp  4 Unit  4 Build  0
Russia:    Supp  5 Unit  6 Remove  1
Turkey:    Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0

Get those to me as soon as possible please.

Builds are in and as a result there are new armies in Edinburgh and Vienna while the Piedmont and Galician armies have been disbanded.

The map going into 1904 looks like this:

Orders for Spring 1904 are due by Midnight GMT on Tuesday 15th March.

Orders are in - on time even so thank you all for that. Some of you managed to absent-mindedly leave a knife or two stuck in each other's backs. There should be some interesting PMs flying around after this.

Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Trieste
A Rumania - Bulgaria (*Fails*)
A Serbia Supports A Rumania - Bulgaria
A Trieste Supports A Tyrolia (*Cut*)
A Vienna Supports A Trieste

England:
F Denmark Hold
A Edinburgh Supports A Liverpool
A Liverpool Hold
F London Hold
F North Sea Supports F London

France:
F English Channel Convoys A Wales - Brest
A Gascony - Marseilles
F Irish Sea - Mid-Atlantic Ocean (*Fails*)
F Spain(sc) - Western Mediterranean
A Wales - Brest

Germany:
F Baltic Sea - Denmark (*Fails*)
A Belgium Hold
A Burgundy - Gascony
A Kiel Supports F Baltic Sea - Denmark
A Tyrolia Supports A Venice - Trieste

Italy:
F Adriatic Sea Supports A Venice - Trieste
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - Irish Sea (*Fails*)
A Tuscany - Piedmont
A Venice - Trieste (*Fails*)

Russia:
A Armenia - Syria
F Black Sea - Constantinople (*Bounce*)
A Sevastopol - Armenia
A St Petersburg - Livonia
F Sweden Supports F Denmark

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea - Constantinople (*Bounce*)
A Bulgaria Supports F Aegean Sea - Constantinople (*Cut*)
F Constantinople - Ankara
A Greece Supports A Bulgaria
A Smyrna Supports F Constantinople - Ankara

Note that the fleet movements between the Irish Sea and the Mid Atlantic Ocean failed because units cannot directly swap places unless there is a convoy involved.

There are no retreats to handle so we can go straight into the next turn meaning that orders for Fall 1904 are due by Midnight GMT on Friday 18th March

Sorry for the late update but I've been speed-painting Chaos Warriors for a tournament tomorrow. I have no idea how it happens that no matter how many Chaos Warriors I have, I always seem to need to speed-paint a bunch more the day before any given tournament. Surely there must be a quantity of Chaos Warriors that counts as a sufficient number at some point? Ah well, who am I to question the Great Shaper...

Anyhow, orders are in and they are like this:

Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Trieste
A Rumania - Bulgaria
A Serbia Supports A Rumania - Bulgaria
A Trieste Supports A Serbia
A Vienna Supports A Trieste

England:
F Denmark Hold
A Edinburgh - Belgium
A Liverpool Hold
F London Supports F English Channel
F North Sea Convoys A Edinburgh - Belgium

France:
A Brest - Paris
F English Channel Supports A Edinburgh - Belgium
F Irish Sea - Mid-Atlantic Ocean
A Marseilles - Spain
F Western Mediterranean - Tunis

Germany:
F Baltic Sea Supports F Denmark - Sweden (*Void*)
A Belgium Hold (*Dislodged*)
A Gascony - Marseilles
A Kiel Hold
A Tyrolia Hold

Italy:
F Adriatic Sea Convoys A Venice - Albania
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - Portugal
A Piedmont Supports A Gascony - Marseilles
A Venice - Albania

Russia:
A Armenia - Ankara
F Black Sea Supports A Armenia - Ankara
A Livonia Hold
F Sweden Supports F Denmark
A Syria - Smyrna (*Fails*)

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea - Bulgaria(sc) (*Fails*)
F Ankara - Constantinople (*Disbanded*)
A Bulgaria - Serbia (*Disbanded*)
A Greece Supports A Bulgaria - Serbia
A Smyrna - Constantinople (*Bounce*)

Which looks like this on the map:

After all of which, the map is thus:

There is one retreat to handle:
The German army in Belgium can retreat to either Holland, Picardy, Ruhr or Burgundy. Alternatively it may be disbanded.

As soon as I get that decision we can go to builds which will look like this:

Austria:   Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  0
England:   Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1
France:    Supp  4 Unit  5 Remove  1
Germany:   Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0 (unless they choose to disband the army in Belgium, in which case they will have 1 build)
Italy:     Supp  4 Unit  4 Build  0
Russia:    Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1
Turkey:    Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0

In a not hugely surprising turn of events, the Germans have retreated to Holland so the map at the end of 1904 looks like this:

Builds and disbands as follows:

Austria:   Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  0
England:   Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1
France:    Supp  4 Unit  5 Remove  1
Germany:   Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0
Italy:     Supp  4 Unit  4 Build  0
Russia:    Supp  6 Unit  5 Build  1
Turkey:    Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0

Get those to me ASAP and we'll move into 1905.

Builds are in, thanks for being on the ball with that guys.

New English regiment is raised in Edinburgh, a new Russian Fleet sets sail out of Sevastopol and the French fleet in the English Channel decides to go home and have an early bath.

Here's the map:

Alright it's 1905 and Europe is a roiling maelstrom of blood and intrigue. What have you people done?

Here is the list of perfidy that you are busy committing on each other.

Austria:
A Budapest - Serbia (*Bounce*)
A Bulgaria Supports A Serbia - Greece (*Dislodged*)
A Serbia - Greece
A Trieste Supports A Budapest - Serbia (*Cut*)
A Vienna Supports A Trieste

England:
A Belgium Hold
F Denmark Hold
A Edinburgh - Yorkshire
A Liverpool Hold
F London - North Sea
F North Sea - Helgoland Bight

France:
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean Supports A Spain - Portugal
A Paris - Burgundy
A Spain - Portugal
F Tunis - Tyrrhenian Sea

Germany:
F Baltic Sea - Denmark (*Fails*)
A Holland Hold
A Kiel Supports F Baltic Sea - Denmark
A Marseilles Hold
A Tyrolia - Munich

Italy:
F Adriatic Sea - Trieste (*Fails*)
A Albania - Serbia (*Bounce*)
A Piedmont - Venice
F Portugal - Spain(sc) (*Disbanded*)

Russia:
A Ankara Supports A Syria - Smyrna
F Black Sea - Constantinople
A Livonia Hold
F Sevastopol - Armenia (*Bounce*)
F Sweden Supports F Denmark
A Syria - Smyrna

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea Supports A Greece - Bulgaria
A Greece - Bulgaria
A Smyrna - Armenia (*Disbanded*)

One retreat to handle, the Austrian army in Bulgaria may either retreat to Romania or it may be disbanded.

In any case, the map is now list and some of you look pretty screwed (and by 'some of you' I mean 'Turkey')

Let me know what you want to do with that please Azore so we can move on to the Fall turn.

Another action packed turn, more twists and turns in this sordid tale of blood and deceit. Some stern words will undoubtedly follow, monocles may pop, port may be spilt.

Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Trieste - Serbia
A Greece Supports A Rumania - Bulgaria (*Dislodged*)
A Rumania - Bulgaria
A Trieste - Serbia
A Vienna - Tyrolia

England:
A Belgium Supports A Yorkshire - Holland
F Denmark Hold (*Dislodged*)
F Helgoland Bight Supports A Yorkshire - Holland
A Liverpool - Yorkshire
F North Sea Convoys A Yorkshire - Holland
A Yorkshire - Holland

France:
A Burgundy - Munich
F Mid-Atlantic Ocean - Portugal
A Portugal - Spain
F Tyrrhenian Sea - Naples

Germany:
F Baltic Sea - Denmark
A Holland - Belgium (*Disbanded*)
A Kiel Supports F Baltic Sea - Denmark
A Marseilles Hold
A Munich - Ruhr

Italy:
F Adriatic Sea Supports A Albania - Trieste
A Albania - Trieste
A Venice Supports A Albania - Trieste

Russia:
A Ankara Supports F Constantinople
F Constantinople Supports A Rumania - Bulgaria
A Livonia - Prussia
F Sevastopol - Black Sea
A Smyrna Supports F Constantinople
F Sweden Supports F Baltic Sea - Denmark

Turkey:
F Aegean Sea Supports A Bulgaria - Greece
A Bulgaria - Greece

There are two dislodgements to handle and one unit is disbanded. The map looks like this after all of that:

The English fleet in Denmark may either retreat to Skagerrak or be disbanded.
The Austrian army in Greece can retreat to Albania or disband.

Once those retreat orders are in we can go to builds which will look like this:

Austria:   Supp  5 Unit  5 Build  0 (or build 1 if the Greek army is disbanded)
England:   Supp  6 Unit  6 Build  0 (or build 1 if the Danish fleet is disbanded)
France:    Supp  7 Unit  4 Build  2
Germany:   Supp  4 Unit  4 Build  0
Italy:     Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0
Russia:    Supp  8 Unit  6 Build  2
Turkey:    Supp  1 Unit  2 Remove 1

Retreats are in, the English fleet sets sail from Denmark into the open sea at Skagerrak while the Austrian army in Greece surrenders unconditionally.

The map for builds is as follows:

Final builds are therefore:

Austria:   Supp  5 Unit  4 Build  1
England:   Supp  6 Unit  6 Build  0
France:    Supp  7 Unit  4 Build  2
Germany:   Supp  4 Unit  4 Build  0
Italy:     Supp  3 Unit  3 Build  0
Russia:    Supp  8 Unit  6 Build  2
Turkey:    Supp  1 Unit  2 Remove 1

Get those to me ASAP and we can continue with the 1906 turn.

Builds are in which is awesome.

New Russian fleet in St Petersburg, armies in Moscow, Vienna, Paris and Brest. Meanwhile the remains of the Turkish fleet in the Aegean decide that war isn't as much fun as it sounds and go become fishermen instead.

Here's the map:

Orders for the Spring 1906 turn are due by Midnight GMT on Thursday 31st March.
