Shorter more frequent issues would be great.  I think only like 10 pages would be aceptable for an issue, at least at the start.  I think the problem was that everybody set the bar too high.  This thing is almost a year in the making.  I vote we just get it out there, with what we have.  Shoot for a quarterly mag, and hopefully things will pick up.  As soon as we see a first issue I am sure there are many of us excited about this who could contribute to a second issue.

I vote for this too, because right now i have mentally cancelled this project.

No problem, I'll give you a 100% increase in pay effective immediately and retroactive to 1999.

I had always in my mind the project but I am the kind of the type of the guy who wants to see first... so I will vote for this too!

Fantastic 'agreement'

I'll cobber together a 20/5 page minimag and hopefully have it done...2/3 weeks.

At the latest, should have it done end of today/Friday.

Ok, I'll use the 'original' content which was prepared for the 1st mag. All 'secondary' content will go into the second edition.

Great fun. Hopefully I'll have it all ready by Sunday... as I have to have it ready by Monday...

Then write up an article, and send it to our editor, Swiper.

I want it noted that I'm not too sure about the move to a smaller version, I'm concerned that the quality might suffer.

Smaller, more often - should mean more articles to choose from and go for those with the highest quality :)

I have to see what the output is going to be in this Web-zine.

I do have access to a technical writer and an artist or two.

BUT

I want to see the end product before issuing recourses to this project that I might be interested in doing.

Then write up an article, and send it to the editor, Swiper.

I suspect it won't appear in the first edition, since it's apparently already on the way.

You can write about whatever you want, and submit it whenever you like, when it's finished is the commonly accepted time.

But bear in mind that, as the editor, Swiper has the final say about what appears in the magazine.

I don't think there is an accepted word limit, just write however much you want, and if Swiper reckons you've written too much, he'll trim it. He is the editor, that is his job.
