Set Up

Tactical Marines in Raider. Calgar in Orbit, Primaris Marines near Imperial Knight babysitting or holding objective, stormtalons harrasing units.

The list is mean to hit with a several strong choices at range and up close. Keeping the enemy busy while the Knight of Ultramar lays waste to all that he can.

I think Stormtalon's are rather weak right now compared to other units in the game. You also have a lack of mobility. Only Calgar, the raider with it's tactical squad, and Perhaps the Knight can go grab objectives.  If you're only playing kill point games where that won't matter than you won't have many issues.

What's the point in having Calgar in the list? Chapter masters are great because of the aura buffs but if he's sitting in reserve to deep strike he's going to be coming in all by his lonesome.  If you trade him for a Librarian you can afford a razorback for one of your 5 man squads. You'll probably get more from the Librarian buffs and/or smite than from Calgar.

Played this list and you did an accurate depiction of how things would unfold. The stormtalons weren't very good but thanks to Calgar at least they got some kind of re-rolls but he was mostly off by himself as the land raider got blown up along the way. The Knight was the all-star of the game however and I won thanks to having him cripple many of the opponent's main units
