--hth is covered in many perspectives

--shooting seems handled by death jesters,
maybe a shooting troop killer unit, like 2nd ed spiders (from what ive heard)

More ideas on mimes on goofys post, too lazy to cut and paste right now

I think wraithguard would be pushing it a little.

I presume that in the dance, the wraithlord would represent the infinity circuit, the afterlife, the dead, or even Ynnead?

Some kind of nice new vehicle would be cool...

hand to hand is sorted, DJs do the shooting, to be honest the army has all of its essential elements, but I think it was worth asking anyway just incase anyone has a sudden vision.

I have two new HQ units in the piepline, more or less bodyguards for the great harlie and shadowseer, taken from back in the rogue trader days.

some toned down solitaires esque characters would make a good bodygaurd, or roaming assasins.
heres a stab (missed)

50 pts
WS   BS   S     T    W     I     A      Ld
6       4    3     3     2     6     3      9

Hand weapon and shuriken pistol

--May exchange hand weapon any pistol for any *weapon*s on the armoury list for allotted points
--may be given up to 50 pts  of wargear

gonna need some mucho tweaking, does it seem too much like a weaker character?

I already had something along those lines, but not so extreme:

Harlequin HQ Bodyguards
Some of us may remember back to the good ‘ole days of Rogue Trader, otherwise known as 1st edition 40K. Back then the harlequin HQ characters had some small units of highly elite bodyguards. They have been recreated here for use in your harlequin armies.
Remember that these units are not official and you must ask your opponent for permission before using them in your battles, even more so than the unofficial harlequin codex in citadel journal.

Avatars

Profile    Points   WS    BS    S    T    W    I    A   LD    SV
Avatar   40   6   4   3   3   1   6   2   9   -

Squad: A Great harlequin may take between 3 and 5 Avatars forming his own bodyguard from which he may not leave.

Equipment: Shuriken pistol, close combat weapon.
Any model in the squad may take additional equipment and wargear from the harlequin list.

Warlocks

Profile   Points   WS    BS    S    T    W    I    A   LD    SV
Warlock   35   5   3   3   3   1   6   2   9   -

Squad: A shadowseer may take between 3 and 5 warlocks forming his own bodyguard from which he may not leave.

Psychic: Warlocks are all psykers and work together with the shadowseer, boosting his psychic abilities. Deduct –1 from the enemies LD or distance of sight for every 2 warlocks in the squad when testing against the shadowseer’s psychihc powers.

Equipment: Shuriken pistol, close combat weapon and grenade pack.
Any model in the squad may take additional equipment and wargear from the harlequin list.
When leading the squad, the shadowseer may have a scatter grenade pack for +10pts.

Special Rules: Grenade pack:

Type   Range   Strength   AP special
Plasma
Grenade   16”   3   5 assault 1, pinning
Scatter
grenade   16”   3   5 assault 3, pinning

The one thing that is bothering me is need of more mime rule differentiation

well...

they're not that good to be honest. Their best use is as a harlequin squad infiltrated up close -whoo.

Thats what i mean, Im gonna quote goofy here
"My BIGGEST concern is the outcome of the "Mime-Deamons. As they wrote:
"Mimes have a SPECIALIZED role...As SCOUTS and INFILTRATORS they RACE AHEAD of the harliquin force...setting AMBUSHES and HARRYING the enemy.. Blah blah.. SPIES... DISGUISE... MIMIC... INFILTRATE... Steal information on enemy troop movement and deployment"  I hope this doesn't become the anticlimatic harlequin squad with a neuro disuptor and maybe infiltration?"

Very true I believe.  Mimes aren't up to fluff-character right now.
:-\ c'est la vie
