Topic: 1850 Tournament Help.

After losing 10 consecutive games with my DE and my necrons are shelved. I decided to dust off and paint some old marines for an 1850 tournament. I am doing a sally theme. We were told not to bring cheeesy "double lash, nob bikers, ect" list. Is this list too over the top or decently competitive?

Dread in a Drop pod w/MM flamer

1 X 10 Marines w/Rhino fist w/combi melta, MM, Melta
2 X 10 Marines w/Rhino fist, MM, Flamer

1 LS w/MM and HF
1 LS w/HFlamer

2X Vindicator

It looks like a great list to me.  It's not as powerful as it could be (you could have 10 Assault Terminators in the unit), but every unit in the list benefits from Vulkan's special ability except the Vindicators.  Don't know what your TO will consider cheesy, but I wouldn't consider this list over-the-top.

I'd lose the random LS with just a HF and give your LRR extra armor, a Multimelta and buff up the assault termy squad.
