Hello everyone,
I recently dug up one of my all time favourite models from my old Black Templars army. I painted this guy in the early 00s. It looked like this:

Hmm. Not too good eh?
I decided to strip this model and paint it anew. I also decided to turn it into a little display piece. Most likely, this will be given to someone for Christmas.

Really nice work, I avoid painting models black because I can't do that sharp highlight, but you've really nailed it.
Always nice to do before and after shots too, good to see your skills increasing over time :)

G'day Malicant!
Neat work, mate. Really impressed with the hand painted decal, and the robes?... Niiiiice!
Have to agree with Orange with the edging and the improved level of skill. Can it be myyy Xmas pressy?... Be well!

Militant, that's a seriously great update to the Emperor's Champion. I love the edge highlighting, while the robes look really rich and have excellent texture. The hand painted decal is the icing on the cake. Really great work, well done!
