Topic: To all you skaters out there...

Hey guys im gettin back into skating after a while and need a little help. I was practicing in my garage with an old crapy board... and snapped it landing a kick flip. Anyways, what are the top brands out there nowadays? Im hitting The Source and West49 soon so i need your help!

Already got the shoes, damn those Hawk Ronins are nice

i dont have skateboard, i use inlines  

i wouldnt be concerned with the brands, just pick one you like and if anyone diss them they can beslubber off...

Good brands that are out there.. from my experience in the past(stopped skating a while back) would be uhh,

Decks:
World Industries
Zero
Toy Machine
Girl
etc, etc. There are a lot of good ones.
Only ones I had problems with are Blind decks, becuase my friends and I have snapped them easily.

Trucks
Venture(pretty basic)
Independent
Destructo

Wheels
Spitfire
Speed Demons( wanted to try these but I quit skating)

Bearings
Panther
German(? I think these were it? Discountinued las time I checked, but they were great)

But If I were you, I'd contine to ask around and stuff like that. I haven't skated in a few years, so my info could be outdated.
Maybe I should pick up skating again....

I use a pretty basic board, i cant remeber its name, i use Abec-3s for my bearings, its great for jus messing around on.
We have a new skate park in our local village, so abec3s move like 5's.  Its a very smooth concrete if you slip off you slide......

Hey thanks for all the responses, Its kinda hard going into west 49 and looking at all these new names... clueless.

Never liked blind either, like you said seen to many of them snap. I think i had a world industries... or maybe not...
