Nomad GamesTalisman: The Horus Heresy - Nomad Games

Of course, set within the Horus Heresy as that's just the done thing these days.

I'll put that one down as a very tentative maybe.  The Horus Heresy has been done to death in my opinion, so unless the gameplay is original and challenging, I can't see myself being that interested in it.  It's not as though the narrative is going to contain any surprises.
You haunt my in-box like an ex-girl friend could only dream of.

To be totally pedantic, wouldn't it technically be 30K themed Talisman? :D

Depends on how long your games generally take.  ;)

Free weekend on Steam for those who want to give it a shot. Three days for free and then a week long discount.

That's not blatant, this is blatant: I'm super happy that I'm playing Austria, the greatest nation in all of Diplomacy!

Not yet. I'll download it tonight and see how it goes. 50% off so if I like it I'll buy it.

Edit: Oh yeah, defeated the Emperor with the Death Guard. Take that.

It's Talisman so you know what you're getting out of the box. Same usual stuff. You start with your choice of Loyalist/Chaos Legion leader of whom each have their own special abilities. Such as, Morty gets to regenerate rather than move in certain situations. Fight your way around the board while gathering forces (stat bonuses) and stuff. It was fun. Since it's only US$7:50 I might pick it up as a beer and time waste game.

DLC is already available as you'd expect.

Edit: Fine, I bought it and a DLC for more warlords. Killed Horus with the filthy Roboute Guilliman. Way too easy with him. Back to Team Evil next game.
