Hey there so for me so far this month, it's 3 aspect warrior painted and based not very impressive i know but i'm not the faster painter out there, never intended to be the one winning this ><

That make for 6 points in May (if I'm not mistaking). I have a falcon coming up, and a wraithlord base, there are not finished yet, that's why I will have to post them later, should be this month thought. :D

My total point are now at the astonishing lvl of 8pts!
If you want further update, feel free to drop by my project blog (in the signature below^^). Advertisement advertisment ! ;)

Edit : Question does texture paint count as basing? If not, then I have no points for this as i only dry brushed some texture paint.

They look good!

Textured bases are a great way to base your models and absolutely count. I use astrogranite grey on almost everything.

I had a slow month for May but I managed to get a few things done.  Still focusing on my Flesh Tearers Army but I took a break to paint up a dread knight for a local GW store monstrous creature painting challenge.  I think I got 5th place of 5 entries so that was a bit disappointing.

I have ten sternguard with combi-meltas

And an exorcist dread knight

Sternguard = 40 points
Dread knight = 8
48 total for May

Wait 5th place with this? you gotta be kdding me !  it's super neat and cool ! maybe it's because it's not a "monstruous creature" and so you got ruled out but how good are the other painter if you got 5th within the rule O o

I finally got a chance to play 40K instead of paint! Literally my first game of 2015

Played against a fantastic necron player. He had a reclamation legion and a ghost ark making his warriors nearly unkillable.  One turn I did 44 wounds with a wyvern barrage and killed 4. He was able to get both dread knights down to one wound but couldn't finish off either of them.  I ended up winning 6-2

I've got the new dread knight in there and a wyvern I painted during the first month of the challenge for an additional 20 points making 68 for May.

Well nice pick from the game let me join in aswell with the game points :D

I got both my swooping hawks and my dark reaper in so that make for 10 aditional points.

Hawk in the front right, reaper beside the wrecked lemanruss around the middle of the table.

I forgot to count the game i did with my autarch can i retrocative it? I mean it was last month and I forgot you had points for game. Here is a pick for this guy. just in case it work.

Sorry for the blurry pick that's the only one I have where we see him.

Oh and there you have a based wraithlord. so that make for 1 more points, the wraithlord was painted last year but never did the base until 2 weeks ago.

That make for 1 additional point if I'm not mistaking

So 16 points if the autarch count work retroactivly, or 11 if not :).

Finally something to report again. I got five models done due to them being entered into a contest over at YakTribe. They are an Arbites Judge and his Personal Staff, including a Bailiff, Medicae, Barrister and Cyber-Mastiff. They are all fully painted and based. (You can't see it well due to the lighting, but I tried out the Agrellan Earth technical paint and I really like they way it looks. I think my Agents of the Imperium army (grown out of my Inquisition Kill Team) are going to end up all based in this style, as it is pretty easy to get good results.

Points Breakdown per model:
(Converting/Painting/Detailing/Basing)

Judge (1/1/0/1)
Bailiff (1/1/0/1)
Medicae (1/0/0/1)
Barrister (1/1/0/1)
Cyber-Mastiff (1/0/0/1)

That's 13 points total for May, which brings my YTD total to 59 points.

I finished my Gabriel Seth which will be part 2 of the painting challenge I'm competing in.  I did pretty badly in the standings of the last round so I'm hoping he will put me at least in the top 3.

@Ludo Wow that one space marine covered in blood... He surely fit with the Flesh tearer name ! Awesome job!

Hey guy's some update for june. A falcon i just finished, I didn't post it earlier because i wanted it to be fully painted before doing so ^^

If i'm correct that make for 6 Points in june so far :) (should have some guardian ready soon aswell.

Edit + point add

8 guardian painted, 10 based : 18 points

So with the tank it's 24 points for june :D

Getting close to finishing up my Flesh Tearers Army.  Two drop pods and a 5 man bike squad.  After that it's just some tweeks here and there.

I have a ten man vanguard squad with power weapons to finish up my Angel's Sanguine Wing formation and a 5 man assault squad.  Each one is detailed, painted, based. The power weapons and heads on the Vanguard squad are kit-bashed from 5 or 6 different kits for some conversion points

I also had Gabriel Seth at the start of the month
        Converting/Painting/Detailing/Basing
Vanguard 10/10/10/10
Assault Squad 0/5/5/5
Seth 0/6/1/1
63 for the month

I had a game with a bunch of models but I can't get photobucket to cooperate.  I may post again in a few days.

I have been trying to figure out how to take some better pictures so I did some forum reading and youtube video watching and learned what a lightbox was.  I built one and all the pictures I took this month are either of or in the light box.  I'm liking it so for.

Looks good man! Very nice color choices... that scheme was one of my favorites from the new book. I've been wanting to collect some proper Harlies and was thinking something similar myself. Keep it up!

So guys, with the way my life and home is at the moment, I won't be getting any painting done this year.  So I'm out of the running for 2015 completely.  :(

But, can we please do this again next year?  Because by then I will be able to produce paint work on an almost weekly basis.

Yeah, agreed Tangi. I fancy rededicating myself next year. This year has largely been a washout due to work and home life demands.

I've got some bits to post for this year, but nothing near to what I achieved last year (even if I like what I did produce). 2016 will be different!

I started out pretty strong, but haven't done anything in months. I'd be up for a re-start next year! :)
