(Forge World) Warlord titan in the works?
« on: April 15, 2015, 06:29:54 AM »
Hey guys and gals I saw this linked in the comments section over at Faeit 212. Could the big boy himself be in the works?

FW has wanted to do a Warlord for several years and a couple of FW open days back there was talk they were finally going to move ahead with the project but it would take around 2-3 years as they wouldn't commit anybody full time to working on it, so this would fit the time frame they talked about.

Guess the next stop will be the Emperor class titan, although they may have to get a bigger door to fit it through.

Now I just need to finish off my Reaver before this gets released...  :-\

I love how it looks like a Knight, just (much) bigger and with more guns.  But this is going to be one hell of a big model.  I predict it'll look amazing when it's finished though.  8)

There's no law to stop you spray-painting kids is there?  Good.  My little boy is just the right height, working on the scale of this picture......now I just need to work out a way to keep him still and in one place for a few seconds.....

Only thing I have seen is someone thinking they have seen it mentioned that it was 23" tall to the highest points, 20" to the top of its head, and it is 17" across
If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

Am I the only cynic that thinks it looks photoshoppy?

The angle of the foot doesn't quite match the angle of the table, and where's the marine's shadow?

And the black-as-midnight-in-a-horror-movie shadow beneath the Titan's foot?

Just me? Overly sensitive to photoshoppery?

They may have tweaked the picture for lighting and colour which could throw the shadows "blackness" off,  but there's no real reason the Marine would have a shadow unless they only lit the area from 1 direction.

If it is all a photoshop hoax they're reallying going into it:
