You know, I always wondered this.  There are really 2 questions here.  First, does Fungus ferment into an alcohol?  And does the hearty Ork Metabolism simply negate the effects of inebriation anyway?

Hard one to answer really.

Not sure if Fungus ferment. Does it contain sugar? I guess this really depends on the type of fungus...

Also, some fungus is toxic/narcotic. It might be this effect that gives rise to Fungus Beer???

Yes, but Orks are an engineered-for-battle species and likely process it more quickly (just as they are engineered to not feel fear as long as there are enough Boyz around).
