Has anyone given the rules for an Ordo Hereticus army a try yet?

I havn't even SEEN the rules for the Ordo Hereticus.

I put higher priority on getting stuff to convert/paint than spending them on a WD prenumeration(so I'm limited to the occasional issue that is recommended from friends and CA)

Chaos vs Space Marine grudgematch today ended 23-19 when Brother Grazieel decimated the chaos team with a heavy bolter.

Afterwards the Chaos Coach Zhuriel the Damned stated "If we weren't ideologically in favor of cheating we'd complain about this""

If you mean the Ordo Hereticus Strike Force in CJ49, I hear it can be pretty devastating if it all comes in on the 2nd or 3rd turn.  The problem with it is the problem with any deepstrike/reserves army, if it comes in piecemeal, it gets chewed up.

However, it is an extremely cool concept, I just think the current reserve rolls poorly simulate what should be a coordinated assault.

I agree completley (and yes, that is the list that i am refering to).

I like the idea of taking Assassins as Elites.

I am greatly anticipating the Ordo Malleus and new Inquisitor stuff before next summer. woohoo.

Yeah, I'd like a look at the Inquisitor stuff too. Maybe I can start Grey Knights, or IG.

Here are the best pics I've found so far: http://www.sphaerentor.com/wh40k/index.php?file=archiv.php&id=635

I think this might be an interesting turn for things. I think that we will see a lot more people playing Inquisitor on a 28mm scale. I've seen some websites devoted to it, but I think that more players will take an interest in game when they don't have to worry about their not so hot painting skills showing on a bigger scale, and don't want to pay for the more expensive 72mm scalers.

I imagine that the powers of the Gray Knights, Inquisitors and other Ordo Malleus units will help the Imperium counter the new list of powerful abilities of the new Chaos codex.

I have a feeling that it would be a small army but that's cool with me. i mean that way you could spend ages doing a really good job on each of the grey knights etc, I mean they are detailed enough.........

Oh they're super detailed. I don't know if I like angular look of the Grey Knights, however.
