Who doesn't love them?

It's time SoB get a full codex! GW already expanded the 40k armies in a small time limit (tau & necrons). The only contra-argument is that there are already too many humans in power armour on the field. Let alien races control the sci-fi universe!!

I think they'll be included in Codex: Adeptus Ordos if I'm not mistaken...Plus they'll be getting yet another update in an upcoming WD.  (not that I'm complaining, I like my sisters  ;D)

I've heard the same rumor about Codex: Adeptus Ordos.  However, I really don't think it's very likely that SOBs will have a codex all their own ever again.  There would have to be a dramatic surge in the number of people playing them for that to happen.  At least it seems that their forseeable future is safe, and they won't be dropped anytime soon.

I've played around the idea of a Chaos SOB army  ;)  It would give an opportunity to add some variety to their rather small selection of models.  I'm also really locked in on the idea of Seraphim with "bat" wings.  Even if I don't get a whole army I may do that one unit conversion just for fun.  "Acts of Faith" would have to be changed to "Gifts of Chaos" of course.  There's also the problem that my major objection to the Human armies in 40K is their devotion to the Emporer, and Chaos just replaces that with devotion to the Chaos Gods.  That wholebrain washed, "just another cow in the herd" mentality doesn't sit well with me  >:(

I just love the idea of being able to call Space Marines and IG (the most common servants of the Emperor) vile heretics.  ::g::

Adeptus Ordos? Sounds like Dune II...
Are there Adeptii Atreides and Harkonnen as well? :-)

Yes, the Sissies of Battle should probably get a codex  some time....

[offtopic] I didn't like the concept of Ordos in Dune 2 or in the Dune 2000 game.  It just didn't fit in with the other two (or the books for that matter).[/offtopic]

I think a bit more fluff and another tank would do the sisters a world of good.  They can be a pretty scary force.  Take a look at how many Axes can be put into one command squad.  But no army can last long with so few ways to blow up vehicles in the 40k universe.

Errgin? So few ways? I think that Exorcist Launcher, (Multi-)Meltas and Meltabombs is all you need!

They have Retributioners, Seraphim, Exorcist, Redemptionists(Zealots with powerfist equivalents) and LOADS of squads that can take Meltas(and of those Dominions arn't the least)...Yeah, and Dominions can take Meltabombs as well.

In short. The foremost weapons against tanks are Dominions, Seraphims, Exorcists and Retributioners. But no squad is completely without means to take out even the heaviest of tanks.

Their problem is that their means of annihilation are all shortranged except for the Exorcist so the main problem with SoBs is getting your guns into position.

Excuse me, Tobab, I should have been more specific.  I was referring to long range tank killing.  You are quite right, once the sisters arrive, most opposition turns to ash.

Isn't Codex: Adeptus Ordos suppose to have a full detailed list of Sisters of Battle?

And yes, I do agree that they deserve a friggin codex.  It's not fair that Chaos gets a NEW codex before SoB even gets their first!

And, can't SoB take rhinos?  With that, mobility and getting those flame throwers into range shouldn't be a problem.

Sisters rock!

Mystic: Yes, Sisters have Rhinos...for 45 points even(BS3). But they can't put their Troop units in Rhinoes.

The "Repressor."  Great model.  I particularly like the pintle-mounted flamer!  I hear they're planning to make that an option for all Battle Sister vehicles that can take pintle-mounted weaponry.
