Title: Travelling Paints
Post by: Valkor on March 19, 2003, 05:30:45 PM
I am wondering, I am goign to go to Florida in a few days, and I wanna take my paints with me (I wanna pick up a Gundam Model there and see how the model compares to good old WH40K, then post it at a forum to show off) And I was wondering if, like tooth paste, there are issues with Paints goin from one altitude to another. I live in Colorado, just to say how big this change of altitude will be.

So, will my paints explode? Or it it not applicable to them?

Well I took my paints on a plane trip and the only think was some of it leaked a lil because i didn't close one well enough...

If it didn't have a chemical reaction from being in a plane that high it shouldn't matter if you go to florida with them(unless it takes time?).

BTW I dont think this matters either but the paints were citadel acrylics. You might also get more help if you put this in the painting forum?

I didn't hink this qualified as advice on how to paint. Just if they travel or not. Mod can move it if its that inappropriate in this forum.

No they shouldn't do anything. I fly from England to Australia and back again several times a year and nothing happens to my paints at all.
