Topic: First Combat Patrol List

A bunch of people from my local gaming club are getting together on the weekend to play some combat patrol. As my experience is very close to nothing I figure this is a great chance for me to play a few good, fast games against a variety of opponents to get my experience up. This is the list which I am intending to take:

Armoured Fist                           92pts.
-Autocannon
-Plasma Gun
-Vet Sgt. w/ Bolter

Chimera                                   88pts.
-Multilaser
-Hull-mounted Heavy Bolter
-Smoke Launchers

Platoon

Platoon HQ                              59pts.
-JO w/ Bolt Pistol/CCW
-Heavy Bolter
-Grenade Launcher

Squad I                                    83pts.
-Grenade Launcher
-Autocannon

Squad II                                   78pts.
-Grenade Launcher
-Heavy Bolter

Total:                                      400pts.

What are peoples thoughts and opinions. My reasoning behind the vet sgt. in the armoured fist is so that each unit can sort of operate independantly of the other to a degree. I experimented a bit with hardened veteran squads but couldn't really make them work so this is the end product.

Any input or ideas for tactics are appreciated,

im sorry i realy wrote a long post on your list but deleted it by accident, so im going to just say the bad things in this one:

bolt pistol - swap for boltgun looks like this squads a shooty one afterall.

smoke launchers - what do you need these for?

plasma gun - i think this is a bit of overkill in combat patroll but its food for killing SMeqs

you need to tell us your regular opponents so we can advise on tactics.
