So what's up with this? Nork Deddog can't be taken outside a company command squad so can't lead an ogryn/bullgryn squad.

Also a Baneblade isn't in the IG codex.

Does this mean a new IG codex is just around the corner with this new formation in it?

Are Bullgryns actually large enough to offer a Baneblade a 5+ (4+) cover save from being 24% obscured?
Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should.

Being that the codex is only just over a year old I beslubbering hope not.

I saw this a while ago and it got me wondering what was going on.  Maybe it's just a (other odd) web bundle?

Ogryns sell like amphetamine parrot, because they're just shy of useless. Package them in a bundle, give it some crazy rules, and maybe someone will buy neat models with bad rules, made playable with a formation bonus. Worked for everything else! ;)

I'm saying that, never having seen the bundle in question... but I'd bet money on it.

I know a couple of easy fixes to make Ogyrns work.  As for the bundle, maybe it's like that thing the 'Nids got; a lot of new releases without an actual codex update.
