Imperial Knight Ion Shield vs Barrage weapons
« on: February 20, 2017, 09:17:52 AM »
Played a games yesterday where I shot an IK with some barrage weapons.

The Ion Shield was facing forward, the centre of the blast marker was facing forward, but barrage weapons always strike the side armour.

We ruled yesterday that the Ion Shield couldn't be used, but on reflection I think we were wrong and the IK should have got his invul save.

Thoughts?

Your question is answered perfectly in the Imperial Knight FAQ that can be found here.  It is the question underneath the image of the Knight on the right hand side of the page.
If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.
Well I always liked the globals...

Perfect, thanks.

Looks like I owe my opponent a Mulligan next time we play.
