With the arrival of the new Codex, it's time for a new tactics round-up as most of the information in the previous thread is outdated.
This is where the perrenial threads about Codex Eldar will be posted. Please check here before starting new topics, any redundant topics will be merged with their predecessor or simply locked.
As always, suggestions are welcome! If you see a particularly valuable insight, brilliant stategy, or beaten-to-death subject, post a link to it here with a short description of it.
The list is sparse now, but I suspect it will be filled to capacity in no time (and in need of multiple threads).
Note: most of the threads below were written before 5th Edition was published. I will make a point of updating this thread and splitting-off the older topics. Look below at Moc's and Gustikk's posts for more up-to-date tactical analysis.

The topic currently on the first page about optimal unit sizes is a pretty good, general question.

i started this one a while back with the hope it would be stickied to avoid endlessly answering the same questions.... but then the flood of posts came and it became lost. so i gave up on updating in because it wasnt being used anyway... if its linked or stickied i can continue updating the content summary at the beginning to keep up with discussion....
ive already starting spotting multiples of some of the questions.

This project thread is going to function as a list of links to posts, sorted by content type, so that users can find a bunch of older threads about topics that may interest them. This first page is a general topic list; subsequent pages will be lists of links to posts dealing with a specific topic. Generally, as more helpful links become available, less helpful ones will be removed. I just rifled through a few of those thread, and their decent; but some are sadly 4th ed outdated versions.... should I start at the top and go through each to see if their 5th ed relavant and report back, or would you like some other method used...

Which ones are you flipping through? All the ones I've linked to should be 5th edition threads. Not that they're the best, necessarily; and quite a few of them were posted up relatively soon after 5th was released. So I'm sure better ones have since developed.
