Sore Moc
Go for it

My mate did another one very similar
But to look like the Sketch of him in the Codex
But I prefere the look of him casting out doom
Or about to pop a head of some Marine Captain

Just so you know, the sword arm is obviosuly one from the High Elf Mage Model, as that is the abse for it
And the staff arm is the Mage arm with the longer staff with the top section of Eldrads pinned ontop

Glad you all likeit though
:-)

Here is my newest Farseer that I will be using in my Corsair list as my "counts as" Eldrad.

This is known as the Conan rule of play, and is not forbidden in the core rules and encourages serious amounts of sportsmanship." - Carniflex

Nicest "Bug Eye" that I have seen in ages... Tell Scott that the ruins are insanely good. WOW. Rocks make him just tall enough too... sweet base, as its not too much, and not too little....

I hope he kicks arse on the battle field too.. no go kill some mon-kiegh.

Cheers, moc065

Thanks. Scott does great overall on Runes and the like. His freehand is top notch. My tournament is this Saturday so the final version of my Corsair list gets to play with all of it's miniatures finally done. :)

Beautiful models, Kadaeux. I think that's the first non-GW Alaitoc army I've seen (it is Alaitoc, right?-looks like it)

Surrounded by your glory, what will my heart feel? Will I dance for you Jesus, or in awe of you be still?
Will I stand in your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing, 'Hallelujah'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine...

Nope :D Though I took inspiration from it. (In truth its a Corsair army that originated from Alaitoc. I just removed all the yellow ;))

Nice work... even if its not Alaitoc, it looks a lot like them, and it looks good.

I do recomment that you clean up around the Gems, and do some highlighting; but those figures are certainly table top ready +, and way better than plenty I have seen in Real life... Thanks for sharing with us, and keep up the great work.

PS.. Prot also has an Alaitoc Paint scheme posted in this site, and its pretty awesome too. I know there are others as well; but my old memeory can't grab them all at once.

Nice.

My army is a very similar theme, though I kept the yellow.  I love the Rangers, but they don't fit well in my mech army.

How did you do the camo?  My stuff was done with a sponge and some dappling.  Yours look like they have larger blocks of the dark.

My stuff can be seen at http://www.meanderingthedunesea.com.  I need to get a full army pic taken now that it is 99% painted.

Nice army there Dehli.llama

Yes I read through your last two batreps and checked how your painting progressed for the Serpents, the edge highlights added a lot and they look much better.

You really should fire some pics into here to show the army and the difference that the highlights make.

Thanks for sharing the web site, and seriously guys, click on his Eldar link and read back few pages, loads of good stuff in there.

Wow! Thanks for the kind words.

Here is the comparison pic between the Serpent without the lining and the Serpent with the lining.  It really does make them standout.

My Camo was done with a sponge as well but I didn't go lightly as I was after a sort of realistic 'stipple' camo. In short I let the sponge have a bit thicker paint than a normal stipple would call for. To say i'm pleased with the results it obvious :D

Anyway I forgot to take some photos of my Guardians and WIP Falcon. I have remedied this to show you all :D
