Well, I got my airbrush out and finally started my voidravens. I went with a similar look like the way I had my first one done...and now re-done, conversion and all.

Looks sick dread! I'm loving the detailed pattern you choose. What paints do you use for your airbrush? I'm still trying to get up the nerve to break mine out, but I'm still unsure what type of paint I want to go with.

Wow! Damn man thats great airbrush work! Super smooth and I love the blend of colors... from black to dark blue to purple to icy blue, its looking fantastic. The lightning bolts look killer too, the perfect touch! Keep it up bud love this scheme!

That's a really evocative colour scheme that you have adopted and it looks fantastic.  The way the colours flow into each other is very appropriate for the Void Raven.  Excellent work :).

Niiiiice!
That would not have been a quick process there, Dread. Am in awe. It would have been easy to go with the hot colours once you decided to go the flame pattern, however, choosing to go with the blue was bold and unique and it paid off. Hats off mate!

that's awesome Dread, digging how you blended the scheme onto the weapons, the lightning is also a very nice touch.

Thanks everybody. Wasn't sure on the lightning but wanted a void type effect, I think it works. As for the paint, I'm using createx. It works great, the opaque ones. Rich color. Hope to have more up soon.

Thanks bud.  I wish I had some more done. I would have but we had a monster storm rip thru town last night. I still don't have electricity. 24 hours now. It's very disappointing. I had my whole weekend planned and now hopefully I will get to do some painting tomorrow. Oh well.

Bummer! That's no good. 24 hours is a long time for a power cut. Must have been a monster storm!

Thanks guys. Everything getting back on track. It seems photobucket.com has messed up. Does anyone know of a better photo upload site? I went on but couldn't figure  out how to fix the problem. Thanks

I use imgur.com, it is free.

They also give you a list of links so you can copy and paste them into forums etc :)

Another alternative is Flickr, although that may be tied to a Yahoo e-mail account.  I cannot remember without going to check though.

I'm pretty certain it is Iri. I use Flickr though and find it easy to use and fairly intuitive.

I'll give it a shot.

Well I finally got my 1st game in on Saturday, actually 2 but I have to say WOW! I love the new rules. The games were so easy and much fun was had. My first game was against IG and the 2nd was against Blood angels. I'm going to do a betrep, I took notes, soon. I got pics too, there is the rub. Posting from Flikr just makes it where ya'll have to click the links and I know how much of a pain that is. Bare with me.

For quick right now I won the first 9 to 3 and lost the last 7 to 3.

Nice work :) glad to hear it's a bit of a streamlined way of playing.

You should be able to use flickr without having people click on the links. Might be a tad convoluted, but if you go to the bit where you normally go to download photos (little arrow in the bottom right when you select a picture if it hasn't moved). Clicking on that will bring up a drop down which says 'original size' followed by a list of other sizes. Select the size you want, and then it'll generate that size (useful for resizong bigger pics). Right click and select 'copy this image url', or just open the pic in a new tab. That web address will be one you can paste into forum code and have the pic appear :)
