Topic: What happened to my blog board?

Nothing was lost....   I have ported the BOARD data into the new BLOG function which will soon be open.   If you are a staff member, you should see it now, if you are not staff, then do not despair, I expect the blogs section to be open real soon.

As I stated to a couple of people who wanted their own boards, this format was quickly becoming unsupportable.

The new system should, in theory, allow those who want to create their own to do so...   Fair warning, though, if you do create a blog here, we expect you to keep it active.
We reserve the right to archive and remove from public view any blog which has become stale waiting for new posts.

But when will we be able to edit and add new articles?
I have some new updates, but can't do anything yet.

You should have the option to post a new article in your own blog...

(go to your blog control panel and there should be a link called "Write Article", over to the left of the screen)

The only options I have stumbled upon (in my blog, anyway) is Subscribe, Print Article, Lock Article, Delete Article, Edit Article, and then all of the Facebook, etc... stuff.

    if you are in the blog control panel, you should have a link to the left.

Actually, viewing a post in your blog should display a menu to the right that includes "Write Article"

Just have a question - if someone wants to set up a blog, what should he do? Does he need to contact an Admin or is there an option for creating a blog? Because I went into the "Blogs" section and I didn't find any option to create or set up a blog, thus the question.

okay, new options have appeared, but I can't use them all.

I've managed to write a new article, but I can't delete old articles, or edit existing ones...

Help!

When I try to delete an article it says I'm not allowed to del community news..
and I'm not allowed to edit community news either...
When I try edit article it says :
You are not allowed to %s.

I can tell you've been working pretty hard to make this site even better.

I still can't edit articles on my blog and I bet there still are many other things I can't do : (
