Looking good blade. I'll bet they look real nice on the table in action.

I beleive you do... 3 raiders and a ravager by my count.

Anywho, awesome show of force there Evans, would be even more impressive if you had the troops i assume go in those Waveserpents out.

Here's my mostly Iyanden themed army in it's entirety so far. I've been slowly working my way through everything and just trying to get it up to a tabletop standard so lots of details and highlights need to be done on most things.

Wraith section:

Fire dragons:

Dire avengers:

Couple of shots of the vehicles, copied from Valar's designs so thanks very much to him for an excellent painting guide.

Great looking army Orranis.

For the yellow, did you use the iyanden darksun undercoat?

Thanks very much.

Yeah it went Iyanden Darksun -> Golden Yellow -> Sunburst yellow

The grav tanks still need highlights in a lighter yellow but it took so long to get a decent flat yellow look I'm happy to leave them for now. Now everything thing else needs building up to sunburst. I love the colour scheme but yellow really is a pig to paint with.

Even without the highlights on the tanks, thats a very stylish army Orannis. I particularly like the stoic, imposing posture of your Wraithlords, they seem somehow more menacing than my own dynamic one...

Speaking of which, i keep telling myself i should finally get pictures posted of my motly crew... Maybe i'll get a respectable camera come the holidays. Hah, i've been saying that for 3 years now.

Anywho, do you have any more shots of the Farseer? From the group shot, it looks like he has purple on him, and i think it may be a little too prominant a divergance from the rest of the army.

Here's a pic of the Warlock who used to lead my Guardian Jetbikes. They've spectacularly underperformed in the last few games and, as a punishment, are being converted into a jetbike council. The body is the female Farseer torso and arms from Chapterhouse Studios and the head is from the female elf pack #2 from Hasslefree Miniatures.

Apologies for the poor picture quality, I'll post up some more of my Iybraesil army when I figure out how cameras work...  :-[

Ta very much. The Eldrad was the only bit I didn't paint myself so that's why it's a bit of an odd one out. I got a job lot of Eldar characters off ebay in various states of assembly and he happened to have been done with some fetching purple. It doesn't realy fit the colour scheme but it's pretty well done and I can't face stripping him to repaint while there's still other bits to do. I'll try get a close up done later.

Time to start postingmy army up really.

Seeing Orannis army in formation made me realise that I have'nt actually put them all out together for ages.
Here they be.

When I first started in 2nd edition they were ulthwe. However when I got back into playing in 5th edition Ulthwe had changed it's colours. Thus I modified mine slightly to make my own style.

Very little survives in the original colours as I am slowly adding new things and also repainting my older models.

Still to be painted are 1 Old style wraithlord (that I might turn into a weird warwalker) 1 old style warwalker, 1 New warwalker, 6 2nd ed Dark reapers+exarch, Maugan Ra, 3 Warlocks, 2nd ed harlies including shadowseer/death jester and solitaire, 10 guardian defenders, 6 jetbike guardians and Jain zar.
