I too, much prefer the Forgeworld Serpents to the new kits.
"If someone used the ridiculous cover saves rule on me I'd probably punch him in the face. If he's still standing he would be entitled to punch me in the face, take my army, and my woman if he can. This is known as the Conan rule of play, and is not forbidden in the core rules and encourages serious amounts of sportsmanship." - Carniflex

Hey gang. Here are some highlights from Project Log of my Corsair Warhost

Copied from my P-Log: My concept for my Corsairs is that their leader (former Autarch) inspired his warhost to go to the aid of a besieged Exodite world against the wishes of his Craftworld, and were consequently exiled for disobedience. The concept may not be classical Eldar Corsair according to the fluff (I'm sure Irisado is frowning somewhere out there   :P   ) but its an idea I like so I'm going with it. Anyway here is how things are coming along:

Anyway check my P-Log for more. I'd appreciate any crits or comments.

nice models.

And even if Irisado maybee would not like your fluff, I like it very much.
Especially as it feels somewhat similar to mine.... ;D
sure you have an opinion,
but my swordplay is better than your´s

Take my advice, I never use it.

Thanks Murgel. I'm glad I'm not alone on my spin on the fluff. Doesn't seem too outlandish. Thanks for the comments.

Hi guys, just finished two Autarchs tonight - first up, Yriel:

Also painted up a converted Jetbike Autarch with laser lance and built-in melta gun:

Not quite as happy with the converted Autarch's paint job but it's good enough. I definitely think I went overboard with the tail-piece thingy but it was all half painted by the time I decided I didn't like it...so be it.

Hoi oi! Thought I'd post a few from my Craftworld, yet unnamed :) I'm a very slow painter and I'm bad with techniques, but I slowly improve (I mainly paint WHFB OnG). Learning how to paint bit by bit thanks to the "How to colour citadel...". The main colours I go for is green and brown, along with some uh... silver and orange. I really like how the colours blend together, they feel humble somehow.

Farseer, no name as of yet.

Older Swooping Hawk! I love Swooping Hawks so much. SO MUCH. I've been told they are terrible for their cost and all that, but I can't resist them. I've got 20! Hahahaha.

Newer Swooping Hawk. I must admit, they are a lot more dynamic but I don't like how much harder the wings are to attach.

And a Wraithlord! I love them toom, their fluff and look.

That blue looks really nice. I keep having troubles when it comes to repainting my Spiders I just can't find what I like. But the blue is on the list to be stolen  ;)

No problem, I wholly approve :). It's just Enchanted Blue base, Ice blue second layer, then finally 50/50 Ice Blue with Skull White.

Pulling out my 6 year old army and dusting it off a bit. I think I am going to keep the current paint scheme and though most models still need a lot of detail work, you can see the basic idea here.

This is a most amazing colour-scheme you made there.
Simple but with much potential.
I love it.

Very inspiring.
I like the Saim-Hann scheme.

personally I have begun to repaint most of my army. I will make several full armies of various craftworlds instead of the one big army of just one.
