Yes, GW has taken them down. The only way you can obtain it is through getting hold of the older Citadel Journals, probably Ebay is your best bet. Best of luck.

I have some left over as well. I will cycle through the trading and start putting them up within a few weeks if all goes well.

well i got a copy of the harli dex and even got my first game in today, i played a blood angels player with 1000 pts and basicly wiped him off the table first turn since we were playing dawn of war. Im going to use your 4th update to work on a 1000 pt list to fight agenst a guys demons.

Any ideas for me?

I didn't want to start a new thread, and I'm in a similar position as this poster so I thought I'd jump in here.

I also have an old Harlequin codex but I was wondering how legitimate it was to play with that codex.  GW has stopped referring to it in their material so would it no longer be tournament acceptable?

it wouldnt be tourney acceptable, but it should be ok with just a casual match, just watch out, alot of people claim cheese.

As with everything that is not current print; ask your opponent and if he/she says is it ok, then it is ok. If he/she says "no, not gonna" then you cannot force it. You can of course insist. or modify the list until your opponent agrees.
It is either that or play a "counts-as" Eldar/Dark Eldar army.

Well, while the original thread is already being hijacked, I may as well jump in with my noob questions too. I have available to me a copy of the original CJ39 Harlequin codex. My question is wether or not I also need the rules in CJ44 to play the codex correctly, or are those just sprinkles on top?

The CJ 44 contains the Spiritwalker and Mimes, but as long as you don't plan to use them you are set.
CJ 50 also has a small piece of text outlining that Solitaires cannot combine kiss and powerblades, but you knew that allready, right?

As much as I would like it to be untrue (powerblades are gear, not weapons!), it's been drilled into me so much in my very short amount of time spent here that I cannot help but accept it as truth. It's hard to find a Harlequin thread without that bit coming up.

And I had no intentions of using mimes or walkers anyway, so it looks like I'm set on that end!

One last round of questions, both regarding the EO revision. First, why was it decided to alter the statlines of Great Harlequins and Solitaires? Second, what is Death Dance? It's listed under special rules for those models that have it, but I could find no other mention of it in the CJ list or the revision document.

The Currect EO list is based on teh Harlequin rules and statlines in the current edition Eldar Codex. The rule you refer to is in there.
The statline was altered so that it would fall into line with hte statline of the basic harlequin in the Codex Eldar, not the CJ-article.
There was a debate whether to make the EO revision for 5th ed based on the CJ-article or the Eldar Codex-unit, and the Codex won out, so here we are.
