Forum Newbie saying hi.
« on: February 13, 2002, 10:48:36 AM »
Stumble onto the site by via the link from TheWarp.

I'm long time Eldar Player, although currently working on adding Tau to my collection. (Brace for flying vegetables).  ;)

Been playing since 2nd edition... (counting fingers) so about 9 years.  I'm an ok player, keeping a 50%+ record.  But I'm most proud of my figures, especially for conversions.

Take a look at some of my stuff at my page.  Let me know what you think.

Looking forward to spend more time here.

First, from someone who did proffesional web design for three years: nice website.  Second, welcome to the boards.  Have fun!

OOh...missed the Wave Serpent the first time. Very cool! How did you extend the back? ....And while I'm asking, what did you use for those cape-things on the Swooping Hawk exarch?

I used plastic cards for extending the WS hull.  You could use the WD template as the base, then get more plastic card to build up so it's flush with the rest, no real trick there.

For the little peacock feathers thing, I sandwiched  a thin copper wire, you could get those at modelling store, between 2 pieces of paper.  Cut to shape then paint them.
