Has anyone had any luck converting some Cult Terms's? If so tell us about it.

There are a lot of common place conversion techniques that are often found. Most of these techniques involve a head and weapon swap from a Cult troop.

Some examples:
-To make Berzerker Terminators, replace the metal head with the head of Kharn or a regular Berzerker head.
-to make Plague Terminators...use the heads with tubing from the PMs.
-1K Sons...again, a head swap or use Ahriman's head
-Noise Termies...no clue, but there are some good guides on the Slaanesh yahoogroup list. I'll try and pull some for you.

Those are the easy ways, but I recommend finding your own method. I currently just use regular Terminators, but I plan on converting a squad from the Space Marine Terminator Chaplain. That skullhead is hard to pass up!

There are all sorts of cool things you can do...but first you must decide on what it is you really want them to look like.

When it comes to conversions...anyth ing is possible.

I figured for my 1k sons termies I would replace the head to get rid of the tusks and add the headdress. Possibly find a garb to go around the waist.  Any other ideas?  Obviously no weapon upgrades.  Ahrimans head is an idea though.

Hm. Well, Nick, it depends on the look of the rest of your army. I recommend that you convert and paint your Terminators last. Once you've done up all your Troop Thousand Sons, take a look at them, then transpose their look onto the Termies.

You could use the "brackets" off the Berzerker heads to produce the Thousand Sons look...

I just finished my first Thousand Sons TerminatOr.  At first it was not looking to promising, but in the end I was very satisfied.  Basicaly it is a normal Chaos TerminatOr w/ Bolter (only way they can come) given Ahrimans head(little modifications) and lots of Green stuff (now blue and white stuff).  I had to make sure every crack was filled in with putty so it would go along with the fluff of their armor being sealed shut.

Overall not a very hard conversion with good results.  It only took about an hour for the first on.  Estimated 45 minutes apiece for all the rest I will do.  When I get the model painted I will post it and come back and leave an address.

I've got some ideas for Noise Marine TerminatOrs.  Maybe I'll have time to give them a try.

i made nurgle ones by sculpting fungus and boils and swapping their heads for zombie heads. Simple, easy, quick and it looks good.

I sorta have it's my chaos lord termie for my thousand sons army (my only chaos model) he has abbadons body with Abriham head. (Sorry I should check the names)
He has abbadons sword arm but it's Abriham’s staff with the daemons in it then it ends like a mace with eisonhorns staff head on the other arm its a green stuff tentacle with a warriors mouth and eyes.

I know it must sound crap but it’s not. Really!

I was considering using Abadons body for my Tzeentch lord in Term armor, but I wouldn't be able to use the sam head as you because thats what I'm using for my regular TS Term's.  Any ideas on a head?  Maybe a normal Chaos Lord Head, but thats not very original.

I'd be interested in a more in-depth conversion than a simple head swap. I really enjoy the one image of a Nurgle Cult Terminator in the Chapter Approved book.
