using eldar pirates as allies
« on: December 30, 2005, 07:25:16 AM »
I have seen some posts referencing eldar pirates and I would be interested to find out more about them - even if it was just the fluffy parts! If there are rules out there can someone let me know where I would be able to find them?

Thanks
Mi Tan

As far as I know there are no rules for them. There are fan rules but you have to ask Rasmus for fluff and rules about them.

alot of ppl make the mistake and say that they are the DE. Don't make the same mistake. I heared only fragments of them but it seems that the Yrieel (something like that) are pirates. You can fin fluff of them in battlefleet gothic and the old Iyanden boardgame.

There are no rules for Eldar Pirates yet, and no fully legal rules for any Eldar allies.  There's Harlequins and Kroot, but niether exist in official Codices, only Citadel Journal and White Dwarf, respectively.

All Dark Eldar are Pirates.  Not all Pirates are Dark Eldar.

Of course not. Everyone knows that DE are just a feeble attempt to market WFB Dark Elves to the 40k audience. Us real Eldar Pirates (that remember 1st ed 40k) blow our noses in your general direction, you silly, spikey, wannabe...types!  ;D

There is no official Pirate list, but you should check out the EO-Pirate list.

I wish there was still an official Eldar Pirate list, like 2nd ed :(

Ah well :)
