Speed Daemons
« on: June 11, 2009, 01:18:17 PM »
I have one week to paint my entire tournament Daemons army minus the Lord of Change.

Am I crazy? Certainly.
Will I get a lot of sleep? Probably not
Will I get it painted in time? Tune in to find out.

Daily updates will be posted to my painting blog and I'll post here to let you know how it's going too.

I'll be watching your progress on this project.

1400 pts or 60 minis is insane even if you don't do anything else all day.

It would be nice if you'd post an army picture once you are done.

Well the first update is posted. No figures finished but I have a block of 20 Daemonettes that should get done tonight. Mostly my evening last night was spent running the batteries down on my Dremel while getting Flamers and Screamers to stick together.

Read all about it here and feel free to comment, provide moral support or take the mickey as you like.

Much to my own surprise I'm actually cruising this. To be fair the quality of the paint jobs are a long way below what I'd normally class as acceptable but as there are no painting scores for the 4 Nations I'm not going to sweat it too much. I will of course be revisiting the figures before the ETC proper in August.

Anyway, the latest update is here and you can find the other updates on the main page

Well everything got done last night. I even found a way to get Mr Feathers into a figure case which was a big worry of mine.

The final update is now up on my painting blog here.

Congratualtions on finishing your fine looking army.

If I hadn't seen it, I would not have believed it was possible in such a short time.

Well done. :)
