I really like that Cloak, has more of a Dark Eldar feel to it that the normal one. Really flows quite well too!

Thanks so much. Here is a small update. I'm trying to decide if I want to add to her head dress thingy then I'll get down with final paint.

Dang Dread you've been doing some work! I pity whoever you have to play because they are in for a world of pain... as should anyone who dares mess with the almighty lords of 40k my beloved Eldar! lol  ;D ;D ;D But joking aside they came out great! The fade is super nice and the spacing of the crackles is spot on.

I like the white body suits on the pilots too. I don't think I noticed that before. All around, everything looks great. I know I've mentioned it before... but I've always loved this scheme... ever since I saw it in the debut White Dwarf for Sisters of Battle (with cardboard terrain) in which the store owner where I was introduced to 40k had his Golden Demon winning models featured. Their was a Venom in this color scheme and it blew my mind! Still love it to this day.

Anyway, hope you have a great game bud. As always sending the good vibes your way... go out there and CRUSH it on the tabletop bro. Good luck and glad to see a painting update!

I would amphetamine parrot a brick if I faced that army! It looks really cool, I'm glad to see that you got round to finishing it off - it will look really striking on the battlefield.

Great work Dread.

Thanks guys.

So I had 2 600 pt games tonight. Won them both, yay! Anyhow I was so excited to play I forgot pics :P. First game was against Templar and 2nd against IG. Both were meat grinders on a 3x4 table, nothing really big happened except fun was had.

Crikey Moses, mate! You've got some serious skills there. So jealous of the amount of Vaul's armoury you have, Dread. Really like your blending. Showing the art that the Eldar bring to war.
Do you freehand the black hive pattern or mask and spray? Thank you for sharing... Be well!

Saim-dann it's all brush and freehand. I start with a white primer then drag the red then drag the yellow forward and sack ward over the red. Then it's the takes forever black lava cracks.

Thanks all. We ate starting an aarmageddon tourney this Wednesday so, is it gonna be wyches or harlis. Help me decide

Harlies are too much of an effort painting to be left on the shelf, Dread. Take them along and watch them dance.

My DE kill team. Now I have to paint them. Could only fit 4 harlis in a team, give them a whirl next time I play.

Well, that's the million dollar question. I think I'm gonna do each model different and not try to stay to a scheme. They will represent the best from each coven, like the winner from each arena put together to go forth and conquer. Sounds kinda sappy but I think that would work for the armageddon fluffwise. Will update as soon as paint begins.

Nice idea :) i like it :)

If you want to crank up the grimdark slightly just say that those champions who perform badly...aren't exactly 'welcomed' as such upon their return to Commorragh.

Sort of like the Hunger Games, but with psychotic drugged up space elves ;)
