Changed my mind.  Instead of the High Reclaimer and revenger, I'm doing seven Dire Avengers.  The eighth will be the exarch, but want to see the new codex before I give him weapons.

I was being purposefully vague about the exact numbers  ;D

It will be at least the required 3 minimum for a squad...

So far I've done this little bunch. They were pretty quick to paint and my drybrush the cloaks cop-out will probably save my sanity later on this month when I'm brushing my way through the other 70+ models  ;D

Not any great shakes by any means but decent enough for the table I s'pose  ;)

Established the colorscheme, according to my Blood Brothers chapter. Made the basecolor on a single so far, making the rest in a bunch, a color at a time.

Still keeping the seraph in kitzune? and is the exarch in or no?

@ Gravis - I think you are the only other member in Devon - I'm up near Exmoor.

@ Scribble and Nicolai - Nice work fellas. Good start. Like the troll.

I already did the second seraph.  I finished it the night I vowed it.  Forgot to mention that.  Only seven avengers, no exarch.  Just a regular avengers with shuriken catapults.

No everybody, it's okay, I didn't fall in a well. Last month was my first time not vowing anything, so this month I vow to paint 15 zombies.
Reset my counters in prep for 6th:
Black Templars: 0/0/0
Dark Eldar (new codex): 0/0/0

I'd like to change my vow from a Thane and 15 Longbeards to a Thane and a Basilisk (I've decided to indulge my love for this piece of artillery by getting one).

My vow will probably not be completed, as I just took up two different independent studies.  Suffice to say, my free-time is kinda a premium nowadays.
Space Marines: 2000 pts.
Eldar: 1000 pts.

Wood Elves: 3000 pts.

i here vow to paint my new eldar wraithlord (from games day) and build and paint 5 of the new dire avengers (also from games day)

this is an awful lot for me as i only get a few hours a week to paint so i will try to do this vow but may only paint the wraithlord and build the avengers, but we shall see how it goes

Vows updated.

I too am finding painting time pretty slim at the moment. No progress since undercoating and I've applied for a management job, so will probably get even busier soon. I'll try and put in some time this weekend.

Keep those WIP photos coming guys. If I can't enjoy painting my own stuff, at least I'll enjoy watching yours.

4 days to vow.

Not the best picture (yeah, it sucks tbh), but a quick progress update - 25 gobbo spearmen painted.

Think I'll be giving them a break and paint the spider riders next.

Right. Last July I vowed, and I failed miserably. This time I am going to get serious. I vow to finish my Falcon (which means at the very least, the body and the turret) and three Swooping Hawks, of which I have done half a one already.

Man: Er... excuse me?
FMG: Yes? I am a doctor, you know.
Man: I was just wondering...
FMG: Get on with it. I'm a Doctor. My time is precious.
Man: Well, it's just...
FMG: My god, man, do you even know what that word means? Let me spell it out: D O C T OR. 6 years of medical school. A PhD.
Man: Look I really...
FMG: I'm the person who makes this whole hospital work...
Man; Look mate, you're  going to have to give me 50p for that paper or get out.

Update:

5 Kasrkin with cloth and armor color done. Boltgun Metal on weapons/other done. 4 Awaiting Vallejo Russain Green, cloth done.

Plasma Gunner Kasrkin was completely finished last night, and went down on the terrain table, where all my painted stuff goes [like to watch the army grow in its natural environment]

3 guardsmen: 2 with cloth color, one sgt with a German officer cap made by Dragon out of vinyl, head painted, green/khaki/boltgun phase complete.

Heavy Weaps: autocannon team and bolter team with cloth color.

Next Update...next week 10/13. Pics coming as soon as I get my camera back.
