Title: LRC Hurricane bolters no longer 12" move and shoot
Post by: -bill- on September 30, 2005, 09:01:33 AM
Just pulled out and dusted off my Dark Angel army after a year of Dark Eldar.

Checking through the SM codex GW appear to have ommitted the old Aramgeddon codex piece whereby the LRC hurricanes can move uo to 12" and always shoot.

Going from the BGB the Crusader is now ruled by the move up to 6" and fire one main and defensives.

Is this so or I have missed a pdf/Chapter Approved somewhere?

This came up for us previously, and we couldn't find anything to change it.

So yes, the hurricane bolters no longer get a free shot no matter how far they move.

It appears that it is intentional, because it was spelled out in Codex Armageddon.

No, if the tank moves at most 6'', one main weapon and defensive weapons can be fired. This overrules the old LRC entry in the BT Codex.

Thanks, lets wait and see what, if anything, the new Templars codex does for them

I think that the LRC (and so the Hurricane bolters) doesn't change.

Just seen the Templar codex apart from the new Blessed Hull (always A14) there's little change -  the hurricanes get no extra mention so we'll have to go with the SM codex entry and BGB
