Daemon Prince, model and bits size question
« on: January 9, 2010, 05:27:44 PM »
I am trying to do a snake, lizard, dragon theme using alot of lizardmen bits for my chaos marine army. I am wanting to use a Red Terror (tyranid) for a daemon prince. I am trying to use the Hive Tyrant's bone sword and lash whip as the arms, but I am stumped on what to use for the wings and head. The Red Terror is to small for most of the traditionally used wings.

In a bits store I saw the chaos spawn vestigial wings and I think they would be perfect (looking) but i can't get a feel for there size from the pic and I am unfamiliar with the spawn model. If any one is familiar with all these model I would appreciate any advice. Also I would really rather use a different head( than the red terror), but I don't have the first clue about that one though.

Thx for any advice

For the spawn size, imagine a terminator lord thrown in a blender with a tyranid warrior, and than spat out onto a large base... (aka, a little smaller than an obliterator, but slightly bigger than a terminator.
