Ok this isnt totally a witch-hunters list but it does use quite a lot from the witch hunters codex.

 Its an arbites list that ive tried to make as fluffy as possible, including option names.

 Its an arbite force thas posted to an arbites patrol fleet for those that dont know already an arbite patrol fleet is a fleet(obviously) of arbites ships(which are very close in design to the ships of the adeptus astrates)which travel around the galaxy ready to reinforce beleaguered planetary precincts and other imperial forces under assault.

 Im saying the list is from a patrol fleet as it allows me to fight practically every race in the 40k universe and it still be fluffy.

 The fact that it is  a patrol fleet is also represented by option names such as Aedile senioris which are only usually found in arbites patrol fleets and the lack of combat teams which arent normally found in patrol fleets where thier bolters arent as much use as supression shields and shotguns in the frequent bording actions that they are required to make.

 Well heres the list:
HQ:

Arbitor senioris(inquisitor lord from witch-hunter list): power weapon and melta bombs.

Personal staff(inquisitorial retinue):                                  2 chasteners(2 chirurgeon).
4 honour guard(crusaders).
1 cyber mastiff(familiar).
1 proctor(acolyte): carapace and power weapon.
1 praetor-cognatis/or verispex officer not sure which is more appropriate(sage).

1 rhino.

Aedile senioris(judge from CJ list): plasma pistol and power axe(joins shock team).

TROOPS:

10 man arbites patrol team(shotguns with executioner rounds from CJ list): grenade launcher and proctor with stormbolter.

10 man arbites patrol team(shotguns with executioner rounds from CJ list): grenade launcher and proctor with stormbolter.

10 man arbites patrol team(shotguns with executioner rounds from CJ list): grenade launcher and proctor with stormbolter.

10 man arbites armour defence team(witch-hunter inquisitorial storm troopers with shotguns): 2 multi-meltas-

-rhino

5 man arbites patrol team(witch-hunter inquisitorial storm troopers with sotguns): 2 plasma guns.

ELITES

9 man arbites shock team(close combat weapons and suppression shields which give a 2+ save in combat and count as an additional close combat weapon from CJ list): proctor with powerfist-

-rhino

10 man arbites combat team(bolters from CJ list): grenade launcher and proctor with with stormbolter.

Arbites  sniper(vindicare assassin).

FAST ATTACK

10 man arbites rapid pursuit team(bikes with twin linked boltguns): proctor with power fist.

Points = 1500

 So thats the list any suggestions on changes, tactics ect?

 Also which do you think is more suitable for the sage verispex officer or praetor-cognatis?

 For those that havent seen the CJ arbites list  each arbite is essentially a gaurdsman with carapace and a shotgun with executioner rounds the executioner rounds are a range 18 bolter which is assault allows you to re-roll failed misses(you can also use at as regular shotgun as well).

 So what do you think?.
