  Well, we've been getting new threads every week/day/hour about changes that people want made in the Eldar Codex.  Primarily these have been about Shuriken Catapults and the Avatar, but there have been many other subjects aswell.  This thread will be for discussion of what models and/or rules you would like changed, and what additions you would like made, to stop the flow of threads being created about the same topic.

Farseers, bring back some of the fear they once ensued in Mon-Keighs hearts. Maybe giving Farseer's 2 base attacks, and some form of pyshic attack that lowers the moral of enemies in CC would be ideal. eh?

I'd say both those are in need of revision, but I really want better guardians.  I understand that it's nice to have cannon fodder, but they're very unfluffy.

Simple stuff-

Drop the points on bikes.

Up the avatar in points and stats, hes cheaper than my base farseer and not as mean.

Shuricat range... or something!

Exarch powers

New toys- Warlock master, New aspect warrior, and the autarch doesnt sound like a bad idea really...

*looks up* keep everything else about as it is... and Im good to go!

Make the codex flow and not overpowerful.
Harlequins back in.
More psyhic powers for both farseers and warlocks
Avatar needs a huge kick
Shuicats need a boost along with DA and guardians (These mean points hike)
Transports re-looked at, making them true to there fluff. --> make them more playable

Make the swooping hawks better in CC (i mean a hawk rarly shoots his pray), or make the better at shooting.
Shining spears... must i say more?
Eldar jetbikes are far to overpriced for what they do.
Wraithguard: could do with perhaps 18``
Wraithlord: Perhaps 20 points more expensiv and a 2+ save (After all he is a walking piece of armour)
In general would a bit more wargear nice.
Tanks that can get bf4
Dire Avengers Exarch: make him a shooting specialized, or give the squad the ability to carry cc weapons.
Avatar: Make him a great deamon for around 200-220p, and tool him up as you wish (his wailing broom, ähm doom should do something)
Guardians: Ok that has been discussed before.
That is all i can think of at the moment. ;)

My take:

Shuricat: 18" range, and I don't think it needs that much more.

Shuricannon: AP4, maybe heavy 4 with S5 so it's not another 3 shot S6 weapon.

Brightlance: Make the starcannon more expensive, or brightlance cheaper in comparison to each other, as it's not that dominating as a weapon.  Especially at BS3.

EML: Lacklustre for points cost, make cheaper.  Otherwise, good.

Scatterlaser: Too random. 2D3 or D3+2 or something.

Fire Prism: Alternating fire modes, one as is, other with S6 AP6 and the large blast.  Also, the tank needs somthing so it doesn't lose it's shot half the time, maybe it scatters on a miss.

Guardians: See shuricat

Avengers: As above, but as they're meant to be very good all-rounders, give them CC weapons and true grit as well.

Wraithlord: 20 or so points more expensive.

Avatar: Character level model, give us the...

Autarch: as a regular combat HQ, hopefully a 2 wound model with some stuff.

Bikes: Down 10 points, and they're still not abargain.

Shining spears: Down 20 points, and they're still mediocre at best.

Transports: Fixed somehow.  Marines can survive a turn of shooting after embarking, aspect warriors can't.  Also, out close combat troops are slow (ish) and delicate.  Maybe an upgrade or something that allows aspect warriors to depart and charge in the direction of the transport movement.

Flexible lists: Like the craftworld lists, but moreso.

I would really like to see far nasiter psycic abailites for both the farseers and warlocks.  It also wouldn't hurt to give the Shuriken Cannons rending.

Apart from the usual stuff, here are things I'd like to see:

Guardians given a choice between lasblaster and shuricap,

Phoenix lords able to take bodyguards of their aspect.

More HQ choices, like maybe Seers, young inexperianced farseers, something like W & BS 4, 2 wounds ld 9
HQ choice of exharcs, only powered between exharc and phoenix lords, W & BS 5, ST & TG 4, 2 wounds or some such. Something besides the Avatar as a warrior HQ.

A newly emerged "cult"/troop choice based on Ynnead. Like Rasmus said, "gothic" Eldar.

More wargear choices for HQ and vets. plasma pistols, fusion pistols, power weapons, etc.

Something besides a warlock as a guardian veteran.

DIfferent types of rangers, with outfitting choices.

Bring back Ghost warriors, especially considering Iyanden.

A walker light, "scout walkers" with only one weapon choice. (advance army vehicles)

Storm guardians on jetbikes, with CC weapons. (no shuriken cannons, but maybe a couple of Power weapons at x.tra points costs? this already taking into account a reduced jetbike cost to begin with)

A jump infrantry type assault unit. "Swooping falcons, with shur pis and power sword?"

running low now...

Bone singers, those were cool. Eldar "mechanincs"

Some type of apothecary unit? Healers if you will. After all, they are a dying race, might be a good idea to keep em alive.

Exodites, pirates and harlequins official.

More psyker powers.

Exharcs all be made St & Tg 4. PLease. Hardened veterans trapped for life on a path of warfare tend to get in pretty good shape.

I like absolutely all of theese ideas, if anyone likes em, PM me, and we can start a thread working out rules for lots of this.

About the transport- thing... perhaps the save of the disembarking unit becomes Invulnerable for one turn?

The only change I view as necessary is the profile of the Avatar- it is puny as it is! Other than that, though, I think the list is still working OK.

Great topic!

Eldritch Storm: Always wound on 4+; armour saves can be taken as normal, pining test. Against vehicles it has the following rule: 1-3 nothing, 4-5 glancing hit, 6 penetrate.
Psychic blocker: ignores Psychic Hood effect.

D. Avenger: Exarch power; Defend- same as now but apples to entire squad, this effect is lost if Exarch dies.
S. Hawks: Two models in the sqouad may exchange their Lasblaster for a plasma gun. The squad may be given H. grenades.

I think a more powerful list of psychic powers, the ones that are available are pretty impressive but seem, not too powerful by the vaunted farseer fluff. Make farseers really good at being psykers. Make the Avatar C'tan esque in power or atleast greater demon with appropriate points cost. Shining spears need a massive points change and so do normal jet bikes. they are now way too expensive for what they do. Wraithgaurd would do better with a stat boost in keeping with super heavy troops. Option for webway deployment in all armies without certain options such as falcons and waveserpents.... Intermediate characters with more wargear seem good. The fire prism becomes ordinance weapon. er... an option for non aspect warrior armies. An option for a "open" list so exodites, harlequin and pirate lists can be used without having to use allies rules. More night fight gear. Maybe an option for the fire prism to mount eldar support weapons? eldar support weapons fragility needs to be addressed too.

- Some protektion against psychic hood and an own psychic hood!
- Let farseers boost moral like space marine HQ for the whole army!
- Better armour save for dark reaper!
- Night fight gear(even a simple flash light would be an improvement)!
- new aspekt warrior!
- Special charackters which you can use without asking!
- better Shining Speers (I think total renewing would be the best)
- Strinking scorpions should get the walk throug cover rule 
- no changes for Banshees!
- Something that ignores or reduces immobilized results
- Support Weapon Battery with armour 12 and the same shield as the wave serpent
  or 4+ invulnarable save (they are wraith bone as well )
- Better Avatar (enough discussions about that)
- Something that you can use the old webways to deep strike your Army
- Every unit that is FOF can attack after disembarging of an transport but not use there FOF
  special rule nor shoot that would match the Background best I think
- War Walkers with a holofield or a 4+ invulnerable save and let them infiltrate the holofield
  would match the backgrund here! 
- Maybe a better holofield that gives -1 on all rolles to hit the vehicle outside of close combat
  (That is only an idea because the Holo field is a realy good equipment!)
- Fire Prism with the fire Modes wich were allready said but I think AP 4 like the SM whirlwind
  would be fair maybe as an equipment
- cheaper Jet Bikes maybe with better weapon options like Flamer or Fusion Gun
- Warp Spiders should get AP 6 and the Exarch need diffrent powers!
- More HQ´s
- Better Dire Avangers maybe make them shoot 24'' and get them 2 attacks in close combat
- Ranger could be a bit cheaper
- More units wich may infiltrate
- More background

mount support weaons with 5-15 guardians

support vehicles eg d-cannon etc

psychic trap of some sort as wargear that causes perils of the warp to enermy psychers or hoods

swoopng hawks get s4 ap5 guns

Shurican weapons should get rending
scatterlasers should have 5 shots waveserpents should be cheeper
wraithguard =2 wounds
bikes= -10 pts
s. spears = -20pts
war walkers should move independantly
nastyer cheeper psyichic and wailing doom = wounds on 2+regardless

Yes!!!

I'd much rather see the psychic hood nerfed. used once a turn, range limitation or some such. It is clearly not very well thought through. Also, the librarians have the veil of time spell, which is an equally powerful divination power compared to farseer powers, don't know that sounds correct.

give runes of warding a range of like 18 instead of 6 those things are useless.

improve the dark reaper armor or lower there points cost

swooping hawks have s4 weapons and grenades are ap 3

diferent warior powers for the spider exarch

and a warp spider pheonox lord model

other than that just the obvios things like cheaper bikes, longer range, and a better avatar.

What I would like to see most is an increase in mid-range characters. The Autarch is an excellent idea, he needn't be Bruce Lee with power weapons, just a decent combat HQ with some interesting customizable options. Likewise, more equipment options for Exarchs to make them less predictable and more versatile. I wouldn't mind being able to attach Exarchs to Guardian squads either - after all they are the most veteran soldiers a Craft World has, and could provide both "stiffening" as well as tactical expertise to the less well trained rank and file.

maybe an invulnerable save for wraithguard in cc;

no change to the wraithlord he is now balanced with regards to everyhting else...

i dont like this trend of everything needing to be rending give a shuri cannon an extra shot and leave it at that

guardians need fixing but with what i dont know

also avatar... he is a god for damn sake.. he should be hardcore

more hq choice - autarch some time of warlock or something...
