Topic: Painting Competition XX - Chimera Category Vote (REDUX)

It had been a bad year, so far, for Chimera banded vehicles. First the take over, then the layoffs, then the take over of the layoffs, combined finally with the take over itself laid off. Now, above all else – recalls of faulty products.

First was the Dr_Ruminahui model. A supercharged BelleMonde with a triple hemmie 87 cylinder fuel rejected overhead twist. Ordinarily a sure winner yet this one, for some reason, just kept pulling to the left when under fire. Memo to future designers – vehicles should not attempt to barrel-roll themselves.

Second was the Raukov Mark VII. A faulty rear hatch lock meant that at full speed those behind you in convoy may be inadvertently exposed to the goings on inside that generally should be kept in barracks. Like boot cleaning and short arm weapon inspection activities. Honest. When in reverse the situation was even worse and this model was known to have the ability (feature and not bug) of catapulting itself backwards over enemy forces. A Land Raider can’t do that. Neener neener neener.

Finally was the reported sightings of a  considered lost Markay model. Long abandoned as a failed Imperial marketing technique of “whack a few skulls on it, what’s the harm?” which seemed to be rather popular with Guard units who were subsequently put on the naughty seat and all shot as traitors. It additionally came in brick red. Which was also probably a mistake.

So, which recall should come first?

Did anyone bother to check and see if they had bad motivators? I knew a farmer who bought a red droid with a defective one once, it was the dickens getting those little guys to exchange it for a newer blue model.

He gets extra kudos points for giving me some feedback on the very same chimera which I've now acted on (and my tanks have benefited quite a bit).
