The updates to the rules this year are minor.  Most of the changes are for formatting and brevity.

Two important bits were added, though:

*No thread bumping.  This has always been enforced, usually listed as spam or otherwise, but the occasional forum nuisance would demand to see where the word bumping appeared in the rules.  This has been fixed.

*The Chuckles guidelines for not sticking your foot in your mouth during a debate has been added as a link.

Now, as ever, we welcome any criticism or ideas for the rules.
